FAQs about cleanbooth

  • Is the cleanliness of the booth inferior to that of a vinyl booth?

Filtered clean air is sent through the system, so the cleanliness of the air is maintained at a level comparable to that of a clean room.

  • What does Class 1,000 mean?

The U.S. federal standard (Fed. Std. 209D) for cleanliness: an environment with less than 1,000 particles per cubic foot of size 0.5 µm or larger, the same as ISO cleanliness class 6.

  • Are there different types of vinyl sheets?

Transparent antistatic sheets (0.5t) are standard. Other sheets such as UV-cut sheets and light-shielding sheets can be selected according to the purpose of use.

  • How durable are vinyl sheets?

Depending on the usage environment, this durable material can be used for 7 to 8 years. It can be used for a longer period of time if it is cleaned on a daily basis.

  • What types of entrances and exits are available?

Usually vinyl curtains are hung by curtain rails. Please select single or double swing doors. Special doors such as automatic doors and clean room doors are also available.

  • What about lighting in the clean booth?

The standard illuminance is about 700 Lux, and many reverse Fuji types are used.

  • Where do you attach the FFU?

Basically, it is mounted on the booth ceiling.

  • Can the airflow be controlled?

Airflow can be limited by inverter control of the FFU.

  • Can the temperature be controlled?

This can be done by installing an air conditioner for the booth.

  • Can humidity be controlled?

It is possible. However, unlike clean rooms, humidity control is slightly more difficult because of the low degree of hermeticity.

  • Can existing floors be used?

A smooth floor is required to prevent dust generation and accumulation. Generally, Ronlume (PVC sheet), epoxy coated flooring, etc. are required.

  • Is it possible to modify a clean room currently in use?

Clean up, expansion, layout changes, etc. are possible. We will make a proposal based on the current situation.

  • I have a low ceiling. Can I install it?

FFU and ducts are installed above the ceiling. We will make a proposal that is compatible with the current ceiling, taking into consideration the height of the equipment to be installed in the room.

  • Does the floor need special construction?

A smooth floor is required to prevent dust generation and accumulation. Generally, Ronlume (PVC sheet), epoxy coated flooring, etc. are required.

  • What is a HEPA filter?

Mainly used in class 1,000 to 100,000 level clean rooms, this high-performance filter has a repair rate of more than 99.97% for particles of 0.3μm.

  • What is a ULPA filter?

Mainly used in class 1 to 100 level clean rooms, this ultra-high performance filter has a repair rate of 99.999% or higher for particles 0.15μm in size.

  • What is a pre-filter?

Installed in front of HEPA and ULPA to remove fine debris and larger debris.

  • Is it possible to have a meeting while viewing the site?

We can resolve problems quickly and make more concrete proposals. Please let us take a look at your site.

  • Is it possible to replace the HEPA filter only?

Possible. We may be able to offer you a lower price than what you are currently using. Please contact us.

  • What is the construction period?

It depends on the specifications, from a small clean booth that can be completed in one day to a large clean room that takes months. We will confirm this at the time of meeting.

  • The planned installation site only has a 100V power supply.

For small clean booths for localized work, 100 V is also available for lighting and power outlets. However, most of the equipment above 30A is powered by single-phase 200V/100V, and three-phase 200V is required for air conditioning. In principle, we ask our customers to supply up to the control panel as the primary side work, but we will accept requests for this service upon request.

  • How much electricity is required?

The amount used will vary depending on the size of the booth/room, installation equipment, and specifications such as temperature and humidity control. This will be confirmed at the time of the meeting.

  • Is any work required before installation?

Power supply for air conditioning equipment, drainage of refrigeration equipment, water supply for humidification, etc. are required. In order to prevent access to areas outside the clean room, the primary side work is generally done separately, but we will accept requests for such work. We will confirm this at the time of meeting.

  • Are there any costs associated with estimating and estimating?

    Estimates are free of charge.

  • What else besides the specifications affects the price?

Additional costs may be incurred for installation location, construction restrictions, etc., such as when a crane or other heavy equipment is required for delivery, when the refrigerant piping distance is longer, etc.

  • Can you handle the project anywhere in the country?

We apologize for the inconvenience. Service is available only in the Kanto area.Thank you for your understanding.
